Thank
you for visiting my site. My name is Bob Percival. In 1966,
I was transferred by my employer from New York State to Quebec,
Canada.
Quebec has turned out to be a very nice place to live, although we are
usually very glad when the very cold winter months are over.
I'm 71, semi retired professional with 5 grown children, three men and two women all of which I am very proud of and all of which still live in Canada. One son has moved to Ontario and owns a business named Adept Valve Solutions Inc. I also have five grandchildren, one boy and four girls of which two are twins.
These days, I work from my home as a consultant. I also have two hobbies that keep me occupied, racing pigeons and building a web site devoted to the subject. I hope you will enjoy the site I have put together for the enjoyment of the sport.
Thirty plus years ago I flew Racing Pigeons in New York State, When transferred to Quebec I could no longer keep them. Now living in the mountains north of Montreal I have restarted. For the past five years a small loft of fine birds has been established. The first were Mulucci then three pairs from Johan Vanboxmeer of the Netherlands. In 2000 a raccoon entered my loft and killed 5 of my stock birds. To replace them I purchased 3 pairs of Janssens. I only keep 10 pairs of stock birds and 12 to 15 pairs in the old bird flying loft. 30 young birds are raised of which only the best are kept to replace old birds lost in the races or to predators.
I am not in the pigeon business so it is rare for me to have birds for sale. This site is not to sell birds but rather to promote a great sport. If someone in Canada would like to purchase young birds I will raise them. Only birds hatched after May 15th would be available. Complete pedigrees are only available from the imported birds.

Trophies the birds have won in the first 7 years. 1998 to 2005

On
January
24th 2003 our club held it's annual awards meeting. That's the time
when
the trophies are given to those who won races the last season. I didn't
win a race and expected nothing. When the last award for the evening
was
announced my name was called by the club president. He walked over to
me
and handed me this. Of all the awards I have received this is the most
treasured.
