.
As a young man (16) and just starting with racing homers I heard of the great birds in The Netherlands and Belgium and dreamed of one day having imported birds in my loft. More than forty years later after a long absence from the sport I restarted and fulfilled that dream. The first were from Johan vanBoxmeer of the Netherlands. Then one pair from Herman Beaverdam also of the Netherlands. The youngsters from both sources have proven their worth with several top performances in the past 5 years.
