FEEDERS
Most of my feeders are wall mounted. Because of limited wall space I also often use feeders on the floor when there are more birds in a section than the wall mounted can accommodate.

The overall length of the feeder naturally depends on the length of the wall it will be attached to.

The idea to use the plastic pipe as the tray came from Steve and Linda Joneli's site. When oil is mixed with the grain for the birds as I often do it's recommended that the trays be washed with clorox at least once a month. The top is hinged to the wall so it can be opened for the grain and the pipe tray can be removed for cleaning.
A piece of wire form shelving is placed in front of the feeder helping to keep the birds feet clean and reducing the chance of droppings being mixed with the feed.

FLOOR FEEDER
The dowel has #10 X 2" screws at each end. When a bird tries to roost on the dowel it turns and the bird comes off.
